ON
THE EDGE: Holes in the Vermont Health Care Safety Net
Format: DVD (15:40 minutes)
The
number of uninsured Vermonters increased by 20% between 2000
and 2002 to 61,659. The situation is getting worse as employers
cut back on health benefits and state programs require payments
from low income Vermonters.
On The Edge puts a human face on these statistics
and shows how these changes are impacting the lives of Vermonters.
The stories presented in the film are relevant as Vermont
begins to experiment with health care reform.
132 Main Productions collaborated with Nat Winthrop, former
publisher of the Vanguard Press and Vermont Times in making this film.

to People in Vermont.
